Training for Everyone!

  • University Research Administration and Restricted Funds will be offering 3-hour Pre- and Post-Award Fundamentals training sessions for new and experienced Grant and Contract Administrators. Sessions will be directed toward BSD or non-BSD departments. In addition, a workshop on Subrecipients will be offered on Mon., April 28th to follow up on the recent NCURA video presentation. PI Notification

  • Effective immediately, restricted funds accounts with late closing memos, large balance returns, and late account closeout reconciliation will have an e-mail notification sent to the Principal Investigator asking for assistance with these issues. You can assist Restricted Funds by avoiding these situations and working with faculty to educate them about their role and responsibilities regarding grants and contracts. New NIH Salary Cap

  • The National Institutes of Health reports that, due to January 1, 2003 increases in federal pay scales, the NIH Salary Cap has increased to $171,900 and should be used for all new applications. Please contact your divisional office for guidance on implementation of this increase.
