Cost Sharing Update!

• The university is now requiring that Voluntary Committed Cost Sharing be accounted for in the same way as Mandatory Cost Sharing. Implementation begins July 1st, 2003. • University Research Administration, BSD/ORS and Restricted Funds will be offering Information Sessions for Pre and Post Award Administrators. Saparate sessions will be directed toward BSD and non-BSD departments. The BSD session is scheduled for Wednesday, June 25th from 1-3pm in room P-117 of the Medical Center. The non-BSD session is scheduled for Thursday, June 26th from 9-10:30am in the Research Institutes Building (5640 S. Ellis Ave., across from the Palevsky Residential Commons), in room 480. A memo with more information will be sent shortly. There is no official registration for the information sessions; just come with your questions!
• Grant and contract management forms (Proposal Transmittal Form and Form 70) have been modified and are now available online. You can find them through AdminNet forms or on the Research Administration website.

It's the end of the Fiscal Year (as we know it)!

• The departmental deadline for submitting transfer documents to the Comptroller's office data entry section is Wednesday, July 16th at 10am. However, all June business documents related to restricted funds management must be submitted to Restricted Funds by 5pm on July 15th, in order for them to be reviewed and approved before the Wednesday morning deadline. Please clearly indicate on your documents if you want the transaction to hit for June business and we will make every effort to ensure it is processed.
