Cost Sharing Recap!

• The university is now requiring that Voluntary Committed Cost Sharing be accounted for in the same way as Mandatory Cost Sharing. Implementation began July 1st, 2003. Two announcements have been posted to the AdminNet website. One is from Keith Moffat, Deputy Provost for Research, and was sent to all university Deans, Chairs, Directors and Officers and will be communicated to all faculty members through these channels. The second announcement is from Mary Ellen Sheridan and Casey Murray and is addressed to all sponsored award administrators. This is the nuts and bolts of implementation and should be used as a resource for all administrators. It can be found at http://adminet.uchicago.edu/adminann/grants_ann/cost_sharing.pdf.
• Grant and contract management forms (Proposal Transmittal Form and Form 70) have been modified and are now available online. You can find them through AdminNet forms or on the Research Administration website.
